    KMC Forms Special Teams To Go After Property Tax Defaulters

    After getting a dressing-down from the Comptroller and Auditor General over its inefficiency in property tax collection, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) has set up a team to conduct special drives against major defaulters. The KMC had decided to serve demand notice to defaulters, asking them to clear the dues in next seven days. Distress warrant will be issued against those who fail to comply.
