    Engineless, Semi-Bullet Train To Link Delhi With Varanasi

    The Indian Railways is all set to connect Delhi and Varanasi with India’s first indigenously built, engineless Train-18. The semi-bullet train is expected to cover the 1,400-km distance in 12 hours, as against the current 18-hour run. The new fleet of trains is being developed under the Indian Railways’ Mission Raftaar, and will run at an average speed of 160 km per hour on 9,000-km main trunk routes.
