In a consequent move against defaulting builders with pending dues, the Noida Authority has issued a recovery certificate of Rs 293 crore against Noida-based builder, Supertech over non-payment of dues. The action has been taken in connection with pending dues for a group housing project, Supertech Cape Town in Sector 74.

After receiving lukewarm responses for its housing scheme, the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) has decided to cut down the cost of 492 flats, on offer in Sector 53. According to the CHB officials, the profit margins have reduced, to cut down the price. The last date of registration has also been extended from November 30 to December 31, 2019.

Of the combined 5,569 units sold during Q2FY20 in Noida and Gurgaon property markets, 74 per cent were ready under-construction projects. Interestingly, MMR saw a similar trend this quarter where nearly 83 per cent or 18,197 units sold were under-construction homes, shows PropTiger.com data.
