    Budget 2018 Puts Indian Railways On The Right Track

    The Indian Railways has been awarded the highest-ever allocation in the Union Budget 2018-19. The finance minister announced a capital outlay of Rs 1,48,528 crore for the railways. The prime focus of the national transporter this year would be the use of technology to ensure safety on its network. This year, around 600 major railway stations in India will be revamped and will be equipped with modern facilities such as Wi-Fi connection, CCTVs and escalators.
