The Indian government, under ‘Act East’ Policy, is developing infrastructure projects in the North Eastern Region (NER) to boost connectivity. It will develop road networks spanning 5,200 kilometres in the North East Region along with National Highway projects and undertake upgradation under the Bharatmala Pariyojana and invest Rs 48,000 crore for building 15 new rail line projects across the state capitals.

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone today tied the knot with his Padmaavat co-star Ranveer Singh at palatial Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como in Italy. According to media reports, while Singh has bought two floors for the couple in Mumbai, in the same building where he currently lives with his parents Padukone has her residence at Prabhadevi in south Mumbai. She jointly owns the apartment with her father and former Badminton champion Prakash Padukone. The property is situated at Beaumonde Towers developed by Sheth Developers.

The Delhi Development Authority has approved a proposal for the construction of a flyover between Apsara Border and Ghazipur intersection on the National Highway-24. To be constructed by Delhi’s Public Works Department, the two-km corridor will help decongest some of the key areas of east Delhi.
