With an estimated cost of Rs 6,672 crore, the 14.5-kilometre corridor will have 13 stations with interchange option to metro lines 2, 3 and 4. Mumbai Metro Line-IV To Get Operational By 2021The Mumbai Metro Line-IV has been planned as a fully elevated corridor with 32 stations from Wadala near south Mumbai and Kasarvadavli near Thane West via Ghatkopar and Mulund. There are plans to extend the line by 2.7 kilometres to Gaimukh. The 32.32-kilometre Metro corridor has an estimated cost of Rs 14,549 crore and is expected to be completed by 2021.
All You Need To Know About Mumbai Metro's Line VThe Line V of the Mumbai Metro will connect Kapurbawdi in Thane West to Kalyan via Bhiwandi. Being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 8,416 crore, the corridor spans a total length of 24.9 kilometres with an interchange facility with Line IV from Kapurbawdi junction. An elevated corridor, the project is expected to improve Mumbai-Thane connectivity while increasing employment opportunities and creating growth centres. Some localities which are expected to benefit from the project include Nilje, Bhiwandi and Kalyan. The project is expected to be completed by 2022.
Mumbai Metro Line 2A To Get Operational By 2020The Mumbai Metro Line II is being constructed in two sub-phases with 18-km line 2A between Dahisar and DN Nagar; and the 23-km line 2B between DN Nagar and Mankhurd. Construction works begun in 2016 and the DMRC plans to open one part of this line (2A) for the public by 2020.
