Shahid Kapoor Buys Rs 56-Cr Duplex, Tiger Shroff Purchases 8BHK Apartment Worth ‘Crores’

Real estate has been a favourite investment option for Bollywood actors for ages now. And what better than investing in their karambhoomi, Mumbai?

Recently, two of Bollywood’s actors have made some big investments in real estate. While one is a new-age actor who entered the industry only five years ago, the other is an acclaimed actor with over 15 years of experience in his kitty. However, the love for real estate seems similar.

We are talking about Baaghi actor Tiger Shroff and winner of three Filmfare Awards Shahid Kapoor!

While Shroff purchased an 8BHK apartment in Khar recently for an undisclosed sum, Kapoor has reportedly bought an apartment in Worli’s upscale real estate market for Rs 56 crore.

Tiger making his debut

Known for his mastery of martial art as well as dancing, Shroff will now be known for his real estate investment which is reported to be worth crores. The 8BHK apartment that Shroff bought in Khar will be designed by actor John Abraham’s brother Alan. Shroff might go for a minimalistic and contemporary home, with a huge space dedicated for a gym, say insiders. The 28-year-old actor is expected to move in his new home next year.

Double delight for Shahid

Critically acclaimed Kapoor has bought a duplex on the 42nd and 43rd floors of Tower B of the upscale Three Sixty West, which has luxury residences managed by The Ritz-Carlton. The property is located in Worli, where actors, including Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya and Akshay Kumar, already own houses.

The area of the floors is 427.98 square metre (sqm) and 300.48 sqm, including a balcony of 40.88 sqm. Registered in name of Shahid Pankaj Kapoor and Mira Shahid Kapoor, the property cost the couple Rs 55.60 crore. The couple also paid a stamp duty of Rs 2.91 crore for the registration with the government. The Kapoors will get six parking spots along with the apartment.

At present, the couple lives in a sea-facing house in Juhu.

Moving in

Earlier in May, Soorma actress Taapsee Pannu moved into a new apartment she purchased in August last year. The actress now owns a three-and-a-half BHK apartment in Andheri’s Oshiwara.
