    Home Loans To Be Cheaper As SBI Lowers Interest Rates By 5 BPS

    State bank of India, the country's largest lender, has announced a five basis point reduction in its marginal cost of funds-based lending rates (MCLR) across tenors, effective November 10. After this seventh reduction in rates this fiscal , home loan rates at the public lender would come down to eight per cent from the earlier 8.05 per cent.
