        Small Homes Turn Away Noida-Greater Noida Homebuyers

        In 2018, Noida homebuyers demanded homes that were on an average 1,320 sqf in size, a slightly upward movement when compared to 2017 when the demand was for 1,305 sqf, a joint study by and suggests. However, on the supply side, this demand remain unmet with apartments sized at 1,260 sqf in 2018 and 1,290 sqf in 2017. Bigger homes at affordable prices is the only way to bring down the weight of unsold inventory.

        Health Dept To Levy Fine On Noida Developers Failing To Provide Mosquito-Free Environment

        After the Noida authorities, in April, advised homebuyers and tenants in the city to make sure they do not live in units that are mosquito infected, the health department of Gautam Budh Nagar has come out with a directive for all gated communities, offices and hospitals to inspect the properties for presence of mosquitos. These structures, after the check, will have to issue an undertaking stating they would take action to prevent mosquito breeding sites.

        #WorldEnvironmentDay: Noida Seeks Rs 433-Cr Assistance From Centre To Fight Pollution

        In a recent study by a mobile application brand, launched last month in Paris, breathing in Noida’s air is equivalent to smoking 9.2 cigarettes a day. This makes Noida the world’s most polluted city. In order to curb the rising pollution levels, the UP pollution control board has in a letter to Union environment ministry sought an assistance of Rs 433 crore. The assistance will be used for upgrading infrastructure that could help bring down pollution levels in Noida and Greater Noida.

        Noida Administration To Auction Property Of Builders To Recover Dues

        Real estate developers in Noida who owe money to the city authority and the administration stand to lose their assets with the Gautam Budh Nagar Administration deciding to auction them to recover dues. In a drive that would be launched on May 15, the city administration would also go after individuals and contractors also as it attempts to recover dues to the tune of Rs 227 crore.
