        The Raja Tula Ram Flyover was proposed as a two-carriageway stretch but got converted into a single-lane flyover in 2009 due to objections raised by the residents calling it a constant source of ‘noise pollution’. While the single-carriageway flyover created further traffic bottlenecks, a parallel road was finally proposed in November 2014 which has already missed three deadlines.         Cidco To Develop Nerul Along The Lines Of Santa Cruz

        In order to replicate the commercial aura around the Mumbai airport, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) is going to develop a 1.3-hectare plot in Nerul for a residential-cum-commercial purpose, just like Santa Cruz in Mumbai. The Cidco has invited applications for lease for this prime property which would also push the annual revenue of the agency by Rs 400 crore.

        All You Need To Know About Mumbai Metro Line 7

        The Mumbai Metro Line 7 is a partially elevated corridor spanning a length of 16.5 kilometres with 14 stations from Andheri (East) to Dahisar East. There are plans to extend the corridor, by 9 km, to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (terminal T2) from Andheri (East), and to Mira Road-Bhayendar from Dahisar. The project is being developed at an estimated cost of Rs 6,208 crore and is expected to be operational by 2019.
