In order to replicate the commercial aura around the Mumbai airport, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) is going to develop a 1.3-hectare plot in Nerul for a residential-cum-commercial purpose, just like Santa Cruz in Mumbai. The Cidco has invited applications for lease for this prime property which would also push the annual revenue of the agency by Rs 400 crore.

After the Noida authorities, in April, advised homebuyers and tenants in the city to make sure they do not live in units that are mosquito infected, the health department of Gautam Budh Nagar has come out with a directive for all gated communities, offices and hospitals to inspect the properties for presence of mosquitos.
