Punjab has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Los Angeles-based Virgin Hyperloop One to explore the pre-feasibility economic study for the futuritic transport along the Amritsar-Ludhiana-Chandigarh corridor. Other states that are considering this high-speed connectivity include Maharashtra and Haryana.
