Use Landfill Site At Noida Sector 123 For Waste DumpThe NGT had on October 24 directed the Noida Authority not to dump municipal solid waste or any other waste at the site in Sector 138-A. It had said they should use the site at Sector 123, Noida as a temporary site for dumping of waste, and this should be done strictly following the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste (Management and Handling) Rules. The NGT had also directed the Uttar Pradesh government and the Noida Authority to start construction of waste-to-energy plant at the designated site within six months.
Noida Authority To Make Public List Of Reliable BuilThe Noida Authority is seen trying every trick in the book to recover over Rs 20,000 crore from 94 developers who have failed to deliver their projects, and who have in turn not been able to pay their dues to the said authority. Between May 7 and May 12, the authority would issue a list of “reliable” developers in order to dispel “negativity” in Noida’s real estate sector.
Gurgaon Circle Rates Hiked By 15%In a move that is likely to help authorities meet the twin objectives of generating more revenues and equalising the differences in rates in various sectors, the Gurgaon district administration has hiked circle rates by up to 20 per cent, for the second time in two months. The revised circle rates come into effect from April 9. It was on February 12 when circles rates were revised in Gurgaon after a gap of four years.
