The international terminal will be expanded in future to increase passenger traffic volumes. The Lucknow Metro, the Mass Rapid Transit System and the Monorail are under-construction and are likely to be completed by 2106-17. The commencement of the metro rail is likely to raise the real estate prices in the city. Lucknow is also one of the bicycle-friendly cities in India. There are several bicycle tracks and separate lanes for cyclists in the city. A cycle track network is also being constructed by the state which will be the biggest in India upon completion.
