Kalwar Road of Jaipur is one of buzzing pathways with dense construction on both sides. Kalwar Road is so called because it leads one to the Kalwar locality. There are many residential areas around Kalwar Road like Anand Lok, Bhambori, Champapura, Manchwa and Hatoj. At the other end, it terminates into a junction of Khatipura Road and Jhotwara Road. It lies on the west of Jaipur connecting Kalwar to Jaipur.
Kalwar Road itself acts as the connectivity between western small regions and Jaipur city. Kalwar lies on the outskirts of Jaipur and it takes the distance of 17.2 km via Hatoj to reach Jaipur railways station. Jaipur International Airport that lies towards the south of Jaipur takes about an hour from Kalwar via NH 11 with a distance of about 27.2 km.
There are some new rising projects on Kalwar Road owing to the shortage of land in the midst of Jaipur. Some of the featured names are Mangalam City, Gokul Extension, Viva Heights, Mayfair Height, Esskay Enclave, Ridhi Sidhi and many more. Talking about old constructions it is hard to find any quality constructions, as it is developing region.
Kalwar Road provides decent civil facilities with a mix of good and average schools, colleges, shopping centers, hospitals and banks. Paramount Public School is the top school with Bachpan, a play school, in the region. There are a few more schools and colleges like Somani International School, Janta Girls Senior Secondary School, Sidharth Public School Siksha Samiti, Gurukul School and JD Public School.
Hospitals on Kalwar Road are Krishna Mother and Child Hospital, Anand Hospital, Shri Brij Fracture Hospital, Gupta ENT Hospital, Gupta Chest and General Hospital, Ram Kautilya Hospital, M K Hospital. However, the area clearly lacks quality multispecialty hospitals and international schools. In addition, you cannot find malls in the area. Biyani International Institute of Technology is only the big name in the field of higher technical education in the region.
