Service apartments make NRIs' stay easy
The Indian hospitality sector and the NRI real estate services are getting better with time. The high profile professionals flowing into the country for extended period of time do not desire to stay in hotel; however, prefer quality service combined with the comfort of home. The availability of service apartments meets the growing demand of PIOs and global NRIs.
The concept of service apartments is comparatively new in India but is highly in demand. They are fully equipped and self-catering units that combine the amenities of a home. The service apartments provide the facilities of house-keeping, self-help kitchen, laundry, room-service, 24-hour receptionists, high speed internet connectivity, power back ups, in house gyms or health clubs and security and travel desk. Certain service apartments also provide facilities like that of sight seeing, entertainment tours and onsite convenience stores.
In case organizations book service apartments for a certain time period in which they are expecting visits from NRIs, the costing also has a positive impact. Generally, the service apartments cost less than a four-or five-star hotel of the same region. It is for this reason that the NRI families who return to the country for attending the wedding of relatives or to arrange their own functions prefer service apartments rather than hotels or rented accommodations. Service apartments take off more than half of the burden of work that is involved during such functions. Another factor adding to the increasing demand and occupancy of service apartments is that privacy is maintained in these types of accommodations; unlike hotels, service apartments have personal entry and exit options and general hotel rules like that of restaurant timings are not applicable.
