Veteran cricket star Sachin Tendulkar's wife Anjali Tendulkar recently sold her posh Mumbai property along with other members of her father’s family for a deal size of Rs 145 crore. Also known as the Mehta House, the property is called La Bonita.Here is everything you might like to know about the deal:

The transacting parties: Jai Corp’s father-and-son promoters, current managing director Gaurav Jain and former MD Satyapal Jain, have bought the bungalow under the name of Mega Trust. The duo is members of the said trust. Jai Corp is a listed company with operations in several manufacturing businesses. Along with Anjali Tendulkar, there are six more sellers from the Mehta family. These include Vivswat Mehta, Nandan Mehta, Aarti Mehta, Tulsi Vatsal, Janaki ML Aris and Jagdish Hatangadi.

The transaction cost: The Jains have paid Rs 154 crore for the property. This includes the Rs 7.25 crore paid as stamp duty.

The property: Spread in a built-up area of 20,000 square foot (sqft) (1,322 in square-metre terms) at Breach Candy, the sea-facing property that also has in close proximity a garden is a ground-plus-two-storey structure. Of this, 19,650 sqft is the constructed area.

The locality: Formerly named the Warden Road, the Bhulabhai Desai Road locality lying in the south of the city is among the most prime real estate markets in Mumbai, a property market known for astronomical rates of property worldwide. The Breach Candy Hospital has lent its moniker to the street itself since people commonly refer to the area as Beach Candy.

Timeline: According to media reports, the deal was registered on March 15. While the last deal that took place in this posh south Mumbai locality took place three years ago, this property was on the market for one-and-a-half year.
