Want to neutralise odour that is being produced in your refrigerator due to various types of food in it? Store an open box of baking soda in the refrigerator. Place it in the back of one of the shelves. The smell your carpet oozes if it has not been dry-cleaned or washed for long can also be taken care of by this ingredient. Just sprinkle the soda, let it stay overnight and vacuum it the next day. Baking soda can also remove smell from sponges you use to clean utensils and de-stink your trash can.
