Using ceilings for hiding ducts, pipes and electrical wiring is a common practice used in most home architectures. To make your ceilings look different, instead of creating bulkheads, focus on architectural detail to add design to your ceiling space. You can keep the original ceiling and hide the vents and other supply on the sides to make them appear less cluttered. You can also opt for truss joist I-beams to run and hide your mechanics.

When renovating your bathroom, plan in advance to give the drains a unique and different cover. Ensure that the drains have enough depth below the regular floor. Choose from plenty of linear drain options available in the market such as decorative metal covers or tiles.
