Sandpaper can also be used to remove the stains.

Aluminium furniture

Aluminium furniture has almost 100 per cent aluminium crafting. Some may be fully casted while some only has few parts made from aluminium. It should be cleaned regularly with mild soap and lukewarm water. However, do not use abrasive cleaners as they can harm the metal. Clear automobile wax, once a year, can also be applied on the furniture for longevity.

Metal furniture

Beside aluminium, outdoor furniture is also made from other metals. Furniture of such metals are finished with a protective coating but the finish can gradually vanish due to exposure to different climatic conditions. Inspect your metal furniture regularly and if you see the varnish is bubbling or a layer of rust has been formed, then apply a new coat of paint or varnish to protect the metal. Wiping the furniture with a damp cloth should be a regular practice.

Fabrics of the outdoor furniture are generally durable, but can get affected by dirt and dust and exposure to sun. Vacuum the cushions regularly and to remove dirt and stain, use a sponge or soft bristle brush to cleanse. A solution of mild detergent in water is perfect to clean the cushion fabrics.
