Smart refrigerators

A smart refrigerator could help you save energy and money on a daily basis. A technology, implemented by Samsung and LG, is smart inverter compressor. This technology leads to a decline power consumption. Moreover, these can also run on your home inverter.

Light-emitting diodes (LEDs)

Using light-emitting diodes (LEDs) can help you lower your electricity bills. These bulbs use around 75 per cent less energy compared to incandescent light bulbs and have a life of more than five years.

Digital programmable thermostats

Approximately 50 per cent of electricity is used for cooling and heating homes. Installing these thermostats help in reducing the electricity bills.  These automatically adjust the temperature as per outside temperature. Thus, saving around 33 percent on heating costs and approximately 15 per cent or 20 per cent on cooling.
