Supertech Will Deliver Homes To 14 Buyers by December 2019: UP RERA
Real estate developer Supertech has agreed to hand over possession of units to 14 buyers, by the end of 2019. According to officials of the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA), the developer has also promised to pay the equated monthly installments (EMIs) or rents, as the case may be, of these homebuyers, till the time the possession of homes is granted. An agreement to this effect was reached, during a meeting of the developer with the homebuyers, during the seventh 'conciliation forum' of the national capital region, held by the UP RERA recently.
All the cases taken up at the meeting, were related to Supertech and were amicably settled, RD Paliwal, NCR Conciliator, UP RERA, said. "In all the cases, the builder has agreed to hand over the possession of homes to the buyers by this December. They have also agreed to bear the expenses for EMIs on home loans, or the rent for accommodation, as the case may be, till the time and have given an option to relocate the buyers concerned, to any appropriate project of theirs for the time being," Paliwal said.
He added that the builder had also agreed to pay the compensation amount to the homebuyers over the delay, under the provisions of the builder-buyer agreements. The resolutions were amicably reached in all the cases and the buyers were happy with the solution, Paliwal added.
