Elevated Flyover In Manesar Will Add More Joy To Delhi-Jaipur Ride
If you live in national capital Delhi, there are so many places you could go during a long weekend. The Pink City is a common option among those who like to travel. However, the joys of the long drive are often marred by the traffic you meet on your way. This could change soon.
According to media reports, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is planning to construct a 1.2-kilometre elevated flyover at Manesar with an aim to ease the traffic burden on the busy Delhi-Jaipur National Highway-48 (NH-48).
What is the plan?
According to officials, the road development agency is in the final stage of preparing a detail project report (DPR) for constructing of this elevated flyover. To be built at an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore, the elevated flyover would be completed in 15 months.
The proposed elevated flyover will start 300 metres after the Industrial Model Township, Maneser Chowk flyover and will go all the way to the NSG Maneser Camp. This way, commuters can bypass the Maneser market and move along. Owing to the presence of several industries, Manesar is a busy market. This is the reason why commuters invariably get stuck in jams at this stretch of the national highway. After the construction of the elevated flyover, commuters, as well as, Manesar residents will enjoy hassle-free travel experience.
“The geographical location of the place is such that it has busy markets situated on either side of the NH-48. As a result, people frequently cross the road leading to either traffic jam or accidents,” an NHAI officer was quoted by PTI as saying.
Apart from the people who are employed in the various industrial units of the city, investors looking for good rentals have invested heavily in the Manesar real estate market, which is far more affordable than the adjoining Gurgaon real estate market. Improved infrastructure would improve the prospects of the Manesar real estate market, too.
