4 Multi-Level Parking Lots Coming Soon In South Delhi

After the standing committee of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has given its approval, four new automated, multi-level parking facilities will come up in the area. A total of Rs 73.13 crore will be spent on commissioning of the facilities which will accommodate a total of 524 cars.
"The sites for the new parking facilities were selected on the basis of a survey conducted for the purpose," Chairman of the Standing Committee of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation Bhupender Gupta said.
While a shuttle-type automated car parking for 200 cars with an estimated cost of Rs 29.58 crore will be built at GK-I, M-Block Market, a tower-type automated car parking for 180 cars with an estimated cost of Rs 24.20 crore will be constructed at GK-II, M-Block Market. The Malviya Nagar Market will also witness the arrival of a tower-type automated car parking for 72 cars, to be built with an estimated cost of Rs 9.68 crore. The SDA Market will get a tower-type automated parking for 72 cars, to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 9.68 crore.
These parking lots will have fire-fighting system, power back-up with a diesel generators set and CCTV cameras.
