Linked via a robust network of the Delhi Metro, the satellite town of Gurgaon is now closer to the national capital than ever before. In the recent months, the sale of residential properties has seen an uptick in the city. The liveliest location in the National Capital Region (NCR), Gurgaon is not just known for its swanky corporate buildings but also the many high-end residential structures that promise a premium lifestyle for homebuyers.

MakaaniQ lists the top five costliest localities in Gurgaon ranked according to the current pricing:

Sector 42

Sector 42 is an established residential pocket in Gurgaon. The area’s popularity has increased mainly due to its proximity to the Golf Course Road that links the neighbourhood with bustling commercial hubs like Cyber City and Suncity Business Park. There are high-rise residential structures enclosed in a gated complex, which have been developed by leading builders like DLF Group. Among a host of social amenities surrounding the locality, Gurgaon’s famous Ambience Mall is also in the vicinity - just 11 kilometres away. An upcoming Metro link is expected to boost the connectivity in the future.

Property prices in Sector 42 is Rs 35,000 per sqft. Buyers will find spacious 3, 4 and 5BHK apartments sized between 4,000 sqft and 6,000 sqft, priced between Rs 20 crore and Rs 30 crore.

Sector 24

Linked via National Highway 48, Sector 24 is situated 9.5 kilometres to the south of the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Offices of several multinational companies like American Express and the DLF Cyber City are located within five kilometres from the region. It is a well-planned locality with plenty of shops for daily convenience and social amenities like super speciality hospitals, play schools, banks and restaurants. Sector 24 is defined by modern gated complexes with parks and wide roads.

Houses in the locality have an average capital value of Rs 22,000 per sqft. The residential offerings include standard 2 and 3BHK homes sized between 1,500 sqft and 2,500 sqft as well as luxury 4 and 5BHK apartments, sized between 3,000 sqft and 5,000 sqft. They are available in a price range of Rs 14 crore and Rs 26 crore.

Sector 58

Towards south of the above localities, Sector 58 is an upmarket locality near Golf Course Extension Road with many township projects. Sector 58 is a suitable place for professionals working nearby, as the International Tech Park and Ireo Business Park, IT SEZ is a short distance away. The locality is dotted with as many as 82 schools, 41 hospitals and over 100 restaurants. The locality is a paradise for sports enthusiasts as there are some privately-owned multipurpose grounds.

Residential properties in Sector 58 have an average capital value of Rs 19,800 per sqft. Sector 54

Sector 59

Sector 59 is a preferred locality among families owing to quality social and physical infrastructure. Within a radius of five kilometres, homebuyers would find top-rated schools like Scottish High International School and Shalom Presidency School; entertainment options like Bestech Square and Hong Kong Bazaar; hospitals, shops, banks as well as some offices. Developers like Mahindra Lifespaces, Ireo and TATA Housing have launched their projects which offer luxurious homes starting from 1BHK size of 1000 sqft, priced at Rs 1.7 crore.
