Similarly, another category of 2BHK flats earlier offered at a price of Rs 54.25 lakhs, is now being offered at a rate of Rs 44.73 lakh each. The flats are offered in a 10-storey tower and all flats are in the higher income group category. Apart from this, the GDA has written to the state government to decide on the cost of flats built under the Samajwadi Awas Yojana, the affordable housing policy started by the previous state government. In a bid to provide pocket-friendly housing options, the former-Uttar Pradesh government had announced the affordable housing policy for the lower and middle-income groups, offering 75-sq metre, 2BHK residences priced within Rs 30 lakhs. Now, with the new government taking charge, the GDA is seeking clarity on how these units have to be sold and at what cost since these flats were exempted from stamp duty charges and were offered discount on the contingency and overhead charges.
Here are the details about some other housing schemes that are expected to open soon for homebuyers and investors.
