According to media reports, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has cancelled the sale deed of an uber-luxury sky bungalow at Worli he bought for Rs 34 crore in 2016 form Omkar Realtors. The Indian skipper, who is currently living with actor wife Anushka Sharma at a plush rented apartment in Mumbai’s Worli at a monthly rental of Rs 15 lakh, is now planning to buy a penthouse at Bandra or Versova, some of the most posh localities in Mumbai, a city that is counted among the most unaffordable property markets in the world.

Kohli’s current lived at the 40th floor flat at Raheja Legend, Worli. The sea-view house is nestled on the Dr Annie Besant Road and spans a carpet area of 2,675.07 square foot (sqft). The star has leased the apartment for a period of over 24 months at a cost of Rs 15 lakh a month. He has reportedly paid a deposit of Rs 1.5 crore, along with a stamp duty of Rs 1.01 lakh, for document registration.
