The poll results revealed that it is popular believe and choice of the public that they wish to buy a home directly from the homeowners and without the involvement of any middleman. 48% of homebuyers prefer to purchase a property from the homeowners as they feel that it not only saves a decent amount of money, but also proves to be transparent.

Traditionally, the homeowners’ conviction that with the help of the right real estate agent, they could help in getting the best deal in the market is now supported by only 23% of the homeowners.

With the new housing facilities being launched every other day and the attractive deals offered by the developers, it seemed to be quite surprising that only 28% of homeowners preferred builders for purchasing their properties
