How To Track PMAY Application Status Online
In a bid to provide convenience to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ministry of Housing has started an online system through which applicants can track their application online. Once the application is approved, the applicant can take the documents to bank to get benefits of the scheme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the PMAY scheme in June 2015 to provide 20 million affordable houses by 2022.
There are four components of PMAY under which the benefits are provided to the beneficiaries- In-Situ Rehabilitation (Slum rehabilitation), Credit-Linked Subsidy Scheme (interest subsidy on home loan), Affordable Housing in partnership (Allotments to EWS applicants by state), Beneficiary-led Construction (Subsidised loan for construction/enhancement of existing home).
How to track PMAY application online-
Log on the official website of PMAY- www.pmaymis.gov.in
Click ‘Citizen Assessment’ from the menu bar on the right side
Select the ‘Track Your Assessment’ option from the drop-down menu
You will be redirected to another page which will have two options- By Name, Father’s Name and ID Type of By Assessment ID.
You can search your application through any of this method.
If you are searching through ID type, you need to enter state name, city name, district’s name, father’s name, ID type and mobile number.
If you are searching through Assessment ID which applicants have received while submitting assessment form.
If your assessment has been completed, you will get a survey number which you have to take to one of the banks which have signed MoU with National Housing Bank or Housing and Urban Development Corporation.
Applicants can get subsidised home loans provided eligibility is fulfilled. Banks will get the interest component from the government which will be reimbursed in the loan account of the beneficiary, bringing down the total monthly instalment down.
Applicant can also refer to the frequently-asked-questions (FAQ) section on the official website of the PMAY. Ministry of Housing has also started helpline for the CLSS-related queries.
