    31 Realty Projects Lose Licences In Haryana Over Violations; Builders May Be Targeted Next

    Haryana’s Department of Town and Country Planning has cancelled licences of over 31 ongoing projects, both commercial and residential. According to the DTCP, it is yet to recover dues worth over Rs 200 crore as external development charges from these projects. Of the defaulting projects, 14 are in Gurgaon, five in Sonipat, three in Faridabad and three in Palwal. Meanwhile, the DTCP has also formed a three-member committee that will look into applications received under the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana.

    Delhi Metro's Blue Line Extension To Noida Sec 62 To Open In January

    Soon, people working in Noida Sector 62 won’t have to rely on auto-rickshaws and hired cabs for commuting as the Delhi Metro’s Blue Line extension from Noida City Centre to Noida Sector 62 and Electronic City will get operational by January next year. At present, only Delhi Transport Corporation-run buses and private autos are available for public transit in the area. The same is true of several areas of Ghaziabad that lie close to Sector 62.

The prime factors attracting Indian buyers to the Dubai real estate sector include active promotion by Dubai-based developers, technological access for buyers through online portals, ease of property registration, assured capital gains, high rental yields, tax-free returns and affordability.

    India's Top Iconic Structures

    Paying tribute to India’s Iron Man Sardar Vallabhai Patel on his 143rd birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31 unveiled the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. The statue, constructed at a cost of Rs 2,989 crore, is located on the river island of Sadhu Bet facing the Narmada Dam near Rajpipla. The 182-metre tall statue has been termed as the world’s tallest – twice as tall as the Statue of Liberty in the US.
