In order to manage plastic waste in Noida, the development authority has started using it for construction roads in the city. The work began on September 13, 2019 along both the lanes of the expressway on a 2.5km stretch between Sector 14A and Filmcity flyover. The plastic waste is being used in combination with bituminous concrete.

Even though signs of recovery cannot be overlooked, lakhs of homebuyers in the Noida property market cannot see much relief in sight. Most of them are desperate to get possession of their homes, some of which were promised almost six to 10 years ago. One of the popular residential markets known for its affordability, Noida is now reeling under enormous pressure.

In a report by global consultancy and research firm Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA), India's aviation industry will become the third-largest market in the world with regards to departures by 2019, and job creation by 2027. The report also focuses on the apparent saturation likely in existing airports in metro cities and the need to deploy more capacity in Tier-II cities. To welcome the new flyers, the government is developing 100 airports across various locations in the country.
