The trial run is now being conducted between Noida Sector 83 and Greater Noida Metro Depot.     Ghaziabad Property May Get Costlier With GDA Hiking Development Charges

    Rates of property in Ghaziabad are likely to go slightly up with the city development authority hiking development charges. The 3.03 per cent increase in the fee comes into effect from April 1 this year. Before the hike came into effect, developers had to pay Rs 3,024 per square metre (psm) as development charge. They will now be paying Rs 3,114 psm.

    The Delhi Metro is constructing a Metro line in Ghaziabad that would connect New Bus Stand with Kashmere Gate ISBT, Rohini via Dilshad Garden. The metro line is expected to get operational by September 2018. The new Metro line will pass through the Sahibabad Industrial Area and will significantly impact the residential areas lying in proximity where the infrastructure is poor.

    Mumbai Metro Line-IV To Get Operational By 2021

    The Mumbai Metro Line-IV has been planned as a fully elevated corridor with 32 stations from Wadala near south Mumbai and Kasarvadavli near Thane West via Ghatkopar and Mulund. There are plans to extend the line by 2.7 kilometres to Gaimukh. The 32.32-kilometre Metro corridor has an estimated cost of Rs 14,549 crore and is expected to be completed by 2021.
