    Circle Rates Hiked In Gurgaon, For The Third Time This Year

    Circle rate of residential properties in some areas of the Millennium City will double with the Gurugram District Administration hiking the rates for the third time this year, with effect from December 20. Rates were earlier hiked in February and April this year. Areas where collector rates will increase significantly include Dron Vihar, Feroz Gandhi Colony, Virendra Gram, Anand Garden, Chandan Nagar and Bhim Ghar Khedi . Rates have been left unchanged in residential areas where the property is already expensive. These areas include all government-developed sectors and privately built colonies, including DLF.

    Mumbai Metro Line-IV To Get Operational By 2022

    The extension of the Line-IV of the Mumbai Metro, connecting south Mumbai with suburb Thane, on December 27 received approval from the Maharashtra Cabinet. The line, once operational, will link the Gaimukh near south Mumbai with Kasarvadavli in Thane via Ghatkopar and Mulund through a fully elevated corridor. The total cost of the project is estimated to be about Rs 14,549 crore with an additional Rs 949 crore sanctioned for the extension. The authorities are planning to complete this project by March 2022, benefitting over 8.7 lakh commuters.
