Delhi To Have London-Like Metro-Rail Interlinked CorThe National Capital Region Transport Corporation is planning to link the Delhi Metro with high-speed railway network that will bring down the travel time between the national capital and the cities that fall under the NCR. The project, which is estimated to cost Rs 1 lakh crore, is expected to cater to over 20 lakh commuters daily. The completion deadline for the project is yet to be finalised.
To Make Delhi 'World Class', DDA Presents Over Rs 8,The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has pegged its Budget Expenditure for the financial year 2018-19 at over Rs 8,000 crore. To turn the national capital into a "world-class city" through various projects, the DDA would spend Rs 3,633 crore on building houses and shops, Rs 765 crore on land acquisition, Rs 2,348 crore on land development and Rs 1,286 crore on establishment.
