    Since “all obstacles have been removed”, the 29-kilometre Dwarka Expressway could be ready in another one-and-a-half year, says Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority Chief Executive Officer V Umashankar. The project, aimed at decongesting the Delhi-Gurgaon highway, was stuck owing to land acquisition issues at New Palam Vihar and Kherki Daula.

    The Cabinet on May 16 approved extension of the Metro rail network from Noida City Centre to Sector 62, which borders Ghaziabad, with an investment of Rs 1,967 crore. The New Line will be an extension of the Dwarka-Noida City Centre Line of the Delhi Metro. The extended route will provide transport facility to a large number of people living in Noida, besides catering to residents of close-by areas of Ghaziabad.

    No Further Expansion, Will Improve Present Form Of Gurgaon: CM

    After a meeting which was attended by real estate developers active in the City of Malls on April 12 in Chandigarh, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said his government had divided the city into four zones to carry out the development work to achieve that specific target.  The move, the CM claims, has benefited the city -- various projects are under the final stages of completion.
