    CIDCO Announces Results Of 1,100 Flats In Navi Mumbai

    The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced the results for its 2019 scheme on February 14. The scheme was launched on January 1 with nearly 1,100 flats up for sale. The housing scheme will offer units in Taloja, Kharghar, Kalamboli, Ghansoli and Dronagiri. The apartments for sale are the ones that remained unsold in the 2018 scheme, results of which were announced in October last year.

    DDA Launches Housing Scheme 2019

    After a successful launch of the first phase, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is planning to launch the second phase of its housing scheme by February-end. The scheme will have 10,000 one-bedroom flats for economically weaker section (EWS) groups. These apartments will be located at Narela and Bawana. In the first phase, launched earlier in January, around 1,250 1BHK flats, located across Narela, Ramnagar Colony and Seeraspur, were up for sale.

    As the Narendra Modi-led government prepares to deliver an Interim Budget on February 1 ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in May, not much is being expected in terms of policy changes. However, real estate developers’ body National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) is hoping for a slew of measures from the government in the upcoming budget that help revive the sector, and promote construction and homebuying.
