    DDA To Now Launch Housing Scheme 2018 In December

    The Delhi Development Authority, which was to launch the Housing Scheme 2018 in June, has now delayed it to December. Under the new scheme, the housing authority will offer fresh units instead of the surrendered counterparts as it did in previous schemes. However, of the 21,000 flats on offer, according to the DDA spokerperson, some are not complete.

    According to a report, as many as 3,54,788, 4,51,494 and 3,88,484 complaints were filed by the Delhi residents in 2015, 2016 and 2017, respectively. Of these while MLAs only raised 3,20, 374 and 567 issues, the councillors raised 8,195, 8,670 and 7,704 issues in 2015, 2016 and 2017, respectively.

    All You Need To Know About Ghaziabad Metro

    The Delhi Metro is constructing a Metro line in Ghaziabad that would connect New Bus Stand with Kashmere Gate ISBT, Rohini via Dilshad Garden. The metro line is expected to get operational by September 2018. The new Metro line will pass through the Sahibabad Industrial Area and will significantly impact the residential areas lying in proximity where the infrastructure is poor.

    DDA To Increase Size Of Homes Meant For LIG Category

    The DDA has decided to merge 1BHKs and create more spacious units to offer buyers more space. The bedrooms will be increased to about 10 ft x 10 ft instead of existing small size. Around 12,000 units were offered under the DDA Housing Scheme 2017, for which 46,000 applications were received. Of the total, 11,000 units were 1BHK homes.
