    Gurgaon Civic Authority Cracks Down On Squatters, Illegal Occupants

    After Delhi, the illegal constructions in Gurgaon has come under the scanner of civic authorities as major drives are being conducted across the town to remove squatters and encroachments from the streets and the residential colonies. In a recent move, three enforcement teams from the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) removed illegal occupants from 11 areas in the city which includes Sadar Bazaar, Jacobpura, Rajiv Chowk, Sohna Road, Subhash Chowk, Tikri village, sectors 40, 44, 45, Silokhra and Sikanderpur. These encroachments were also causing congestion on arterial roads.

    New Metro Links To Boost Noida Property Market

    After the first trial run that was conducted in April between Greater Noida Depot and Sector 147, the second set of runs began on July 25. The trial run is now being conducted between Noida Sector 83 and Greater Noida Metro Depot. The project being developed by the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) at an estimated cost of Rs 5,503 crore, is expected to become operational in December this year.

    All You Need To Know About Mumbai Metro's Line V

    The Line V of the Mumbai Metro will connect Kapurbawdi in Thane West to Kalyan via Bhiwandi. Being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 8,416 crore, the corridor spans a total length of 24.9 kilometres with an interchange facility with Line IV from Kapurbawdi junction. An elevated corridor, the project is expected to improve Mumbai-Thane connectivity while increasing employment opportunities and creating growth centres. Some localities which are expected to benefit from the project include Nilje, Bhiwandi and Kalyan. The project is expected to be completed by 2022.
