The North-South Corridor will be a 29-km stretch between Wazirabad and the Urban Extension Road-II in Dwarka. The project, which will be completed at a cost of Rs 6,000 crore, will be completely funded by the Delhi government. Starting at the Signature Bridge in north Delhi, the corridor will pass through Zakhira, Kirti Nagar, Pankha Road and would end near Dwarka Sector-23, at UER-II.

The Delhi government is planning to extend the Barapullah Elevated Corridor from INA to Dhaula Kuan in Phase-IV of its construction. The planned signal-free stretch once completed will cut travel time between east Delhi and the Indira Gandhi International Airport by nearly 40 minutes. To start work on this project, the Delhi government has asked for the submission of a feasibility report for the extension of Phase-IV. According to the Public Works Department (PWD) officials, this phase will be linked to Phase-II near Thyagraj Stadium.

The Delhi Development Authority has approved a proposal for the construction of a flyover between Apsara Border and Ghazipur intersection on the National Highway-24. To be constructed by Delhi’s Public Works Department, the two-km corridor will help decongest some of the key areas of east Delhi.
