Thoraipakkam, is one of the residential localities of
Chennai. It is strategically situated along IT Expressway and
Old Mahabalipuram Road (
OMR). This region forms one of the eastern banks of
Pallikaranai marsh. Ellaiamman Nagar,
MCN Nagar, Raj Nagar, Mettukupam, Chandrasekhar Avenue,
NJK Avenue, and few others are the surrounding localities. IT companies such as Mahindra Satyam Computers, Tech Garuda systems, etc. have also set up their offices here. This area serves as a prominent commercial and residential hub in the south of

OMR from Madhya Kailash,
