    All You Need To Know About DDA Housing Scheme 2019

    The DDA, in the second phase of its housing scheme for 2019, will auction over 18,000 low-income, middle-income and high-income group (LIG, MIG and LIG) flats in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj and Narela. The registration of these homes, which started on March 25, will end on May 10. In a first, the complete process of the scheme will be through the online medium. The draw of lots for the scheme will be held in May-June while the allotment of the apartments will start in July.

    GST Council Gives Builders 'Reasonable' Time To Start Offering Property On Reduced Rates

    The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council on March 19 approved a transition plan for the implementation of new tax structure for housing units, Revenue Secretary A B Pandey said. Reasonable time for transition would be given to developers in consultation with states, he said. Developers of new projects would, however, have to offer the GST benefit to buyers starting April 1 only.

    Delhi Dethrones Maharashtra As India’s Top FDI Destination

    In a first, the national capital along with the national capital region that includes parts of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh has overtaken the long-standing leader Maharashtra in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) into the country. The construction sector attracted around Rs 543 crore funds, which is six per cent of the total investment while the infrastructure sector gained Rs 12,862 crore from the foreign investors. A study by London & Partners has listed Bangalore (6) and Hyderabad (14) among top 20 global cities for attracting FDI into the information and communications technology and electronics sectors.

    How To Buy Farmland For Non-Farming Activities

    Section 63 of the MTAL earlier barred the transfer of agricultural lands to non-farmers without the permission of the collector or officer authorised by the state government. However, once amended, a sub-section was included which said that the bar for transfer of agricultural land shall not apply to land situated within the limits of a municipal corporation or is within the jurisdiction of the Special Planning Authority or New Town Development Authority constituted under the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 (MRTP) and land allocated to residential, commercial, industrial or any other non-Agricultural use in the draft of final Regional Plan or Town Planning Scheme.
