DDA Approves 6-Lane Flyover To Decongest East Delhi
The Delhi Development Authority has approved a proposal for the construction of a flyover between Apsara Border and Ghazipur intersection on the National Highway-24. To be constructed by Delhi’s Public Works Department, the two-km corridor will help decongest some of the key areas of east Delhi.
Barapullah Road Phase-II Opens For Public On July 28
Phase-II-and-III of the Barapullah Road will make the commute easier between east and south Delhi. The two-km section would connect the existing stretch of Akshardham-Jawaharlal Nehru to INA Market and Aurobindo Marg in south Delhi, passing through Sewa Nagar Railway Crossing, Kushak drain and Lodhi Colony.
Circle Rate Hike Proposed In Gurgaon For The Third Time This Year
At a time when real estate developers in the city were pinning their hopes on the festive season to revive sales, the Gurgaon administration has proposed to raise circle rates by up to 25 per cent. This could be this year’s third rate hike; rates were earlier hiked in February and April, each time by up to 15 per cent. The revised rates will come into effect on October 19.
Ghaziabad Hands Over Land To AAI; Work On Hindon Airport Begins
For the development of passenger facilities at the Hindon Airport, the Ghaziabad officials had sought to lease land from farmers with an area spanning around 10 acre at Sikandarpur village near the airbase. After the lease formalities were completed, the district administration has now handed over 90 per cent of the land to the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
