      In a report by global consultancy and research firm Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA), India's aviation industry will become the third-largest market in the world with regards to departures by 2019, and job creation by 2027.     • GST Council Gives Builders 'Reasonable' Time To Star

      The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council on March 19 approved a transition plan for the implementation of new tax structure for housing units, Revenue Secretary A B Pandey said. Reasonable time for transition would be given to developers in consultation with states, he said. Developers of new projects would, however, have to offer the GST benefit to buyers starting April 1 only.
