The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is a greenfield access-controlled highway developed at a cost of Rs 1 lakh crore and will take three years for completion. Aimed at reducing the travel time between the two cities from 20 hours to 12 hours, the project will also have a new alignment covering several backward areas of the country and lead to industrial growth.
Delhi To Have London-Like Metro-Rail Interlinked CorThe National Capital Region Transport Corporation is planning to link the Delhi Metro with high-speed railway network that will bring down the travel time between the national capital and the cities that fall under the NCR. The project, which is estimated to cost Rs 1 lakh crore, is expected to cater to over 20 lakh commuters daily. The completion deadline for the project is yet to be finalised.
